D'Arcy gave us many wonderful days in the ring, firstly gaining BPIB at Windsor; followed on by his Junior Warrant and many places and wins at both Championship and Open Shows. He also gained 'Best Puppy in Show' at the Southern Cavalier Club Open Show and 'Reserve Best in Show' at Heckington Agricultural Society. He sired our beautiful 'Angel' Carolus Angelina JW to 'Sally-Ann' Carolus Royal Rhapsody. D'Arcy lives here with his sister Phoebe and daughter Angel.

Still heart clear at the age of 9 1/2 in early 2007, but now has a murmur at the age of 12 years.
MRI scanned on 29th October 2009 at the age of 12 years and graded 'D' - not bad for an old chap :-)

Pheebles - a joy to show and oh so pretty. She gained her stud no. at only 18 months and was eligible for the CKCS Club Puppy of the Year for 2 consecutive years. These twins battled it out at Open Shows for BOB on many occasions. Phoebe lives with us in semi-retirement and is a very gentle member of our cavalier family. She accompanies us to the odd club show being entered in the veteran class.
Unfortunately Phoebe now has a heart murmur - a grade 3 - but she is doing very well on the medication Vetmedin

'Angel'

Angel - Our Junior Warrant girl. On the way to her J.W. she gained 2 'Reserve Best in Shows' and a 'Best Puppy in Show'. A wonderful show girl who performed beautifully in the ring gaining many 1sts at Championship level until she contracted the awful haemorragic enteritis. This unfortunately cut short her show career as she never grew a decent coat afterwards and became very wary of outside surroundings.
However, she enrolled in the Masterclass of Brood bitches giving us Aust. Ch. Carolus Teddy Roosevelt (owned by Marilyn Madigan), Carolus Lucretia, who has now gained her K.C. Stud no. and last but not least our dear Carolus Tommy Atkins JW ShCM.
Heart tested on 23rd August 2009 and still CLEAR at almost 9 1/2 years :-)

'Amy'

Amy is a beautiful, petite little girl who still retains her youthful good looks. She could have had a really wonderful show career had she not been such a 'Me Me' cavalier. What Amy sees, Amy wants, mostly food. She drove me to distraction with her silly manoveurs, mostly twizzling, leaping and messing around on the table.
In the end I just gave up, but I am contemplating taking her to some shows in the veteran classes in the hope she may have just 'grown' up.
She has had just 2 litters; her eldest daughter 'Carolus Amethyst for Darilance' is a NZ Champion and her eldest son Carolus the Admiral won the Special Puppy Dog class at Crufts. Her second litter gave us our Carolus Lillibet as well Carolus the Soul Singer (Yogi) and Carolus Amelie (Amy) who now live in Sweden. Yogi has a CC and we hope he may gain the others to obtain his Swedish title.
Heart tested on 25th April and still clear at 7 years old :-)
Heart tested again on 23rd August 2009 and she has a barely discernable murmur.
